We previously used a small egg washer, but its performance was not ideal. The cleaning results were poor, and the brushes were too aggressive, which caused a significant number of broken eggs.

We first met Maggie when we purchased egg trays from her. At that time, I knew she supplied egg washing machines, but as a small operation, the available models were beyond our budget.

We had around 1,500 chickens and were planning to grow gradually, so I asked Maggie whether it would be possible to develop a smaller and more affordable machine for farms like ours.

After several discussions with Maggie and her husband, they saw the potential demand for this type of machine and decided to develop one for us.

We are very happy with the result. The machine has made a real difference to our daily work by significantly reducing the time needed for egg washing. It is efficient in both water and electricity use, and although it requires two operators (one for loading and one for collecting), it is simple, practical, and well-suited to our needs.

Most importantly, the machine handles eggs much more gently than our previous washer, which has greatly reduced egg breakage.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied—we wouldn’t change it for anything. The washer has saved us a lot of time and allows us to focus on other important tasks on the farm.

The machine is manufactured by ZENYER, and I would highly recommend it to other free range egg producers. For farms with up to several thousand chickens, this compact egg washer is an excellent solution.
