In 2022, our ZENYER Australia team was installing an egg washing and grading line for a customer in Australia when they noticed a common operational challenge. The customer’s staff spent an entire day washing dirty plastic egg trays, then stacked the cleaned trays on pallets for drying.

Some stacks were more than two meters high, and during our visit, one stack collapsed, scattering trays across the floor and creating additional work for the team. For egg grading centers that receive eggs from multiple farms, tray hygiene is essential to reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

The customer explained that they had searched for plastic tray washers worldwide, but most available solutions were too expensive for free-range egg producers: “I have been searching for plastic tray washers around the world, but they were too expensive for us. Can't you make a reasonably priced tray washing machine for free-range egg farmers like us?”

It was at that moment that our team began developing a practical and cost-effective tray washing solution. In May 2023, the first ZENYER tray washer was launched.

Compared with the first model, the latest Zenyer 202T tray washer offers improved capacity and an upgraded de-nesting device, making it more compatible with different types of plastic egg trays. The washing and drying systems have also been redesigned to improve tray cleanliness and dryness, helping ensure each tray is cleaned and dried more thoroughly before reuse.
